What's Happening?
END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR MURALS
Always an exciting time in room 102 when June comes. Students work in groups or individually on murals. Students have the option to create a school theme mural or an original design they created.
Merlin and Jessia have been working so hard on this abstract mural and finally today (June 8th) they were able to unveil the tape hidden beneath the paint to expose crisp white outlines around each geometric shape.
Next step: Where will we hang this? ;)

Collographs... Linoleum Cutting... & Screen Printing...oh my!
Students in Drawing & Painting Two studied the medium of collograph printmaking.
Students are making imaginative collages of landscapes or cityscapes. Each collage serves as a reference for building a collograph plate on plexi-glass using only found materials.
